A Poem for his Majesty, the dragonfly

Fly fly dear dragonfly untill your verses
blow thy sky

untill orpheus chants your christmas carols
fly fly for your nymphs ‘re to the full
the most sacred psalms,

your shy lilies ripen your orbiting sky,
you are sweet as the Cherries,…

Peaches, and apples are right, no doubt,
in their long kiss of your rosy cheeks,
i can see them butterfly,
i can see them flush and blush!
so fly fly dragonfly, and
O please don’t let that lilies romance hush!
